A 15-year-old boy has been left with serious injuries after an alleged stabbing incident. 

A 15-year-old boy has been left with serious injuries after an alleged stabbing incident.

The teenager was rushed to Ninewells hospital in Dundee on Saturday night. A 16-year-old has been arrested following the incident that took place near Moncrieffe Island.

Police Scotland said: “We received a report that a 15-year-old boy had been stabbed following a disturbance near Moncreiffe Island, Tay Street, Perth.

The 15-year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital with what appeared to be serious, but non-life threatening injuries. A 16-year-old boy was arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
