Appeal to trace 13-year-old missing from Perth

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of 13-year-old Hayleigh Kent.

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of 13-year-old Hayleigh Kent.

Hayleigh is described as white, around 5ft. 7 inches in height, with long, brown hair. When last seen she was wearing a grey hooded top, navy jacket, black leggings and white Nike trainers. She is also thought to be carrying three bags.

Hayleigh Kent was last seen around 10.15am on Saturday 26 February in Perth city centre, near Kinnoull Causeway. She failed to return home and was reported missing.

Extensive enquiries are underway Police say, however, attempts to locate her have so far proved unsuccessful. Police Scotland are seeking to view any relevant CCTV footage which may provide additional information on where Hayleigh may have gone. She regularly visits Dundee, Fife and Edinburgh and enquiries are ongoing in those locations.

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2280 of 26 February, 2022.

UPDATE: Police Scotland said: “We can confirm that Hayleigh Kent, 13, who had been reported missing from Perth has been traced safe and well”
