Police have closed Victoria Street in Perth due to an ongoing incident.
The Scottish Ambulance Service and Police Scotland are currently in attendance due to a report of concern for a person.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: “Officers were called to Victoria Street, Perth around 9.40am on Thursday 12 May 2022 following a report of concern for a person. Officers are at the scene and the street is currently closed.”
Police negotiators and armed officers are at the scene supporting local officers.
UPDATE: A man has since been arrested.
