Police are appealing for information following a serious crash on King Edward Street in Perth.

Police are appealing for information following a serious crash on King Edward Street in Perth.

The incident happened around 2.20pm on Tuesday, 25 July, involving a pedestrian and a white Ford Transit Custom 2800 van.

Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 94-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee where his condition is described as serious but stable.

Sergeant Brian McEwen said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who saw what happened but has not yet spoken to officers, to get in touch.

“If you can assist please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1823 of Tuesday, 25 July, 2023.”
