Scotland’s thriving cider scene will take center stage at Pressed Festival 2025, a celebration of Scottish cider and orchard restoration, set to take place at Guardswell Farm on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 12 pm. to 10 pm.

The one-day festival, hosted at the scenic 180-acre Guardswell Farm in Inchture, will spotlight the craft and culture of Scottish cider-making—from naturally sparkling Pet Nats to traditional perries. The event brings together local producers who are not only creating distinctive, low-intervention ciders but also replanting native orchards and reviving long-lost Scottish apple varieties.

Attendees will have the opportunity to taste a range of ciders, meet the makers, learn about cider techniques, and enjoy live music and a communal farm dinner prepared by acclaimed chef Harris McNeil of Eastfield. Ticket options include tasting-only access (£18), a cider tasting with dinner (£55), and a full-day experience with camping (£60).

Pressed Festival 2025 is family-friendly, with under-18s welcome when accompanied by an adult. Non-alcoholic beverage options will also be available.

The venue is home to Diggers Fine Cider, which has planted nearly 3,000 apple trees across the farm and crafts cider using wild yeasts and unsprayed local apples. The farm also serves as a hub for sustainable living and agritourism, hosting events from farmers markets to foraging workshops.
