A 70-year-old man has died after he was found unconscious on South Street, Police Scotland said in a statement.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the 70-year-old man who was found unconscious in South Street, Perth, late on 23rd January has sadly died. There are no suspicious circumstances, and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
