Perthshire law firm unveils trio of appointments as it further expands well-regarded family law department.
Macnabs, a leading law firm with offices in Perthshire, Tayside and Stirlingshire, today announces a trio of new appointments as it continues to strengthen its family law department.
Duncan Mackinnon, Lynne Kelly and Christie Rattray have all joined the family law team at Macnabs from Lindsays in Dundee. Partner Rachael MacDonald, previously at Harper Macleod, also joined the firm earlier this year to complement the family law team.
Duncan, who joins Macnabs as a Consultant, has 30 years’ experience in family law and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Child Law. As well as acting for individual clients, Duncan helps courts and the children’s panel to determine what is best for children and is Vice Chairman of Relationship Scotland in Tayside and Fife. Lynne, an accredited paralegal in Family and Child Law, has a wealth of knowledge in this area and often attends Children’s Hearings on behalf of clients. They join with secretary Christie Rattray.

Partners Stuart Hunter, Ruth Croman and Rachael MacDonald are all accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as specialists in Family Law and are all members of the Family Law Association. Managing Partner Ruth, a family law arbitrator, is also accredited in Child Law. The team is well known for its experience and capabilities advising on complex family and child disputes, including divorce and separation cases concerning high-net-worth.
