Thief steals expensive collection of items in Auchterarder

A house in Grampian Avenue in Auchterarder was broken into sometime between 5pm and 7.40pm on Thursday 27 February.

Included in the haul is a Bose make sound dock, a 32 GB I-Pad in a grey case, a pair of gold cufflinks with the initials ‘RHB’ on them, a green I-Pod shuffle, a blue I-Pod Nano and over £100 in coinage from a digital money box.

A quantity of costume jewellery was also taken along with a DKNY gold watch, a Rennie Mackintosh design gold watch with a brown leather strap, a gold Sekonda watch and a vintage pearl necklace and matching ear-rings.

A man was seen acting suspiciously in Grampian Gardens that day. He’s described as being between 35 and 50 years old, of slim build, with a dark brown moustache and distinctive side burns. He was driving a white van.

Anyone who can identify the man in the van, or anyone who knows where the stolen goods are now, should get in touch with Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101 or speak to any police officer. Information can also be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
