Congratulations to the Perth High School S1/2 hockey team who won the Tayside and Fife Regional Schools Hockey Cup.

The team successfully qualified to represent Perth and Kinross in the regional competition by winning the local schools league organised by Perth & Kinross Council’s Active Schools Team. The winning team was actually Perth High School 1 as the school entered three teams for the S1/2 School Hockey League this year.

They went on to sweep the board by winning all of their games in the regional competition to lift the cup. The team were complimented by the competition organisers not just on their standard of play, but also their excellent conduct and infectious enthusiasm.

The team is supported by their coach Miss Cafferty, and senior pupils who volunteer to help the younger team members.
