Provost Liz Grant said, “I am absolutely delighted at the way in which local communities in Perth and Kinross have celebrated The 2014 Ryder Cup and I can’t wait to welcome some of the people who have done so much to make the area special to Gleneagles on Sunday. The broad range of Legacy projects supported by both the Council and communities is fantastic and I’m sure we will see the positive results for many years to come. I would like to thank Ryder Cup Europe and the Gleneagles Hotel for providing some of the prizes our well-deserving communities will be receiving.”
