Police Scotland have confirmed an 56-year-old man has been arrested over the death of a woman in Perthshire.
A spokesman from the force said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 56 year old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a 27 year old woman in the Bridge of Earn area on Friday, January 23, 2015.
Officers were called to the Horsemill Place area of Muirmont, Bridge of Earn at around 1.30pm.
It is anticipated that the male will appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Monday.”
Police attended the incident on Horsemill Place, Muirmont, at around 1.30pm on Friday.
Police Scotland and local authorities are still tracing the next of kin.
