Mohammed Abboud, 56, of Horsemill Place, Bridge of Earn, has been charged with murder.
Mohammed Abboud, allegedly repeatedly stabbed Agnieszka Szefler, on her body with a knife. Mr Abboud made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination.
Mr Abboud, was remanded in custody.
