Police in Perth are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a 15-year-old girl that happened near to Viewlands Road West at Muirend Gardens between 5pm and 5.10pm last Wednesday (January 21).
At the time of the incident the girl was wearing a navy wax jacket with fur trim, black sports shorts, light coloured trainers and she was carrying a black rucksack.
Police are keen to trace a man who is described as being in his 30s, about five feet 9 inches tall, of very slim build, with short dark hair, dark-coloured eyes, prominent ears and a moderate to dark brown skin tone. At the time he was wearing a knee length Khaki jacket with a fur trimmed hood, a light-coloured t-shirt, light blue faded denim jeans and white trainers. He was last seen heading towards Muirend Avenue.
The victim was shocked and upset, but unhurt by the incident.
