Detective Officers have renewed their appeal for witnesses and information surrounding the robbery of a 75-year-old woman that happened at Balado, Kinross on Wednesday 17 June 2015.

Detective Inspector Marshall McKay commented:

ā€œItā€™s now four weeks since this crime occurred and Detectives continue to make efforts to trace the men responsible. During the early afternoon they entered an elderly womanā€™s home and robbed her of jewellery, cash and other personal belongingsā€.

ā€œAn e-fit image of one of the men we wish to speak to in connection with the crime has been circulated and we are still keen to hear from anyone who may know him.

“He is described as being in his 20s, thin build, with short brown hair. He has a distinctive thin ā€˜goateeā€™ beard at the end of his chin and it is also important to note that he has a blue coloured tattoo design on the bottom of his back.

“At the time of the robbery he was wearing a blue hooded top and blue jeans.

ā€œThe second man is described as being about 18 years old, with a tanned complexion, wearing a grey/blue hooded topā€.

ā€œIf anyone recognises the man from the e-fit image, or from his description, or has any information regarding the crime I would urge them to contact Police Scotland on 101. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111ā€.
