49 staff in the Perth showroom of Peter Vardy Group, the fast-growing automotive retailing business which celebrates its 10th birthday this year, are to share in the transfer of over £5 million of its ownership as part of the Peter Vardy Partnership Share Scheme.
From Thursday 2nd of June this year, all of the Perth colleagues will be given share options in the company to allow them to share in its future success. All 800 will be given the opportunity to join the Scheme.
To benefit financially they must remain with the company for a minimum of three years. When they exercise their share options each colleague will receive a loyalty bonus as well any uplift in the value of the share options over that period.
Since it was established in June 2006 the Peter Vardy Group has grown from one dealership in Perth to 12 throughout Scotland. Colleague numbers have risen from 1 to 800. It has a Vauxhall dealership in Dunkeld Road, Perth.
