The A9 has reopened in both directions following a road traffic collision south of Dunkeld on the morning of Friday, 31 July.

The A9 has reopened in both directions following a road traffic collision south of Dunkeld on the morning of Friday, 31 July.

The incident was reported at around 6.10am and resulted in the road being closed while emergency services attended the scene.

One person was taken to hospital for treatment. Their condition has not been disclosed.

The road has now fully reopened to traffic, with motorists thanked for their patience while the incident was dealt with.
