Creating 6 new jobs within the Centre, the store plans to be open in time for Christmas trade and is just the fourth store to open in Scotland.

Founded in 1972, Crabtree & Evelyn was initially a small, family run business; the first store specialised in fine soaps sourced from around the world. Today Crabtree & Evelyn is a brand renowned over the world for its fragrances, body care products, fine foods and beautifully packaged gifts. Crabtree & Evelyn seeks out the most beneficial ingredients inspired by nature to create a range of products which make a world of difference. A blend of the very best of nature and science coupled with tradition and innovation.

Claire McDiarmid, Marketing Officer at St John’s Shopping Centre said, “We’re thrilled that Crabtree & Evelyn are joining us in time for Christmas this year.  Their skincare and gift ranges will be the perfect addition for Perth shoppers.  The store has also recruited 6 staff which means that the St John’s Shopping Centre developments have created 37 new jobs this year.”

Crabtree and Evelyn are the sixth new store to open in St John’s Shopping Centre in 2013, and follows the introduction of fashion giant H&M, and expansion of River Island with more retail space across their ladies, mens and kidswear ranges.
