A pensioner who died at scene on Wednesday near Auchterarder is named.
81-year old Robert Scott who lived at Auchterarder suffered fatal injuries when his vehicle left the unclassified road between Dunning and Auchterarder at about 8.20am.
A police spokesman said: “Mr Scott’s family are understandably upset by their sudden loss and have said that he will be greatly missed.”
The spokesman said inquiries are continuing and appealed for any witnesses to phone 101.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal.
