Manhunt for missing prisoner James McDonald

Police Scotland officers are looking for 27-year-old Ian James McDonald, a prisoner from Castle Huntly who failed to return to the prison on Sunday 23 February 2014 after a period of approved leave.

Police Scotland officers are looking for 27-year-old Ian James McDonald, a prisoner from Castle Huntly who failed to return to the prison on Sunday 23 February 2014 after a period of approved leave.

Ian is 5ft 7 in height, of slim build and has blonde hair, blue eyes, and tattoos on both lower arms and on the centre of his neck. He was last seen wearing a khaki jacket with white zip, blue jeans and black trainers. Ian is known to frequent the Dundee area and was last seen in Dundee around 3pm on Sunday 23 February 2014.

Anyone who has seen Ian or anyone who knows his current whereabouts should get in touch with Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101 or speak to any police officer.
