Perth & Kinross Council, in partnership with Enable Scotland, is offering free Citizen Leadership Training sessions.

Citizen Leadership is a way of making sure services meet the needs of people who use them.

The sessions are available to anyone; but could be of particular benefit to those affected by a learning disability, mental ill health or substance misuse, as well as their families and carers.

The training will help you learn how Citizen Leadership can make a difference in your life by helping you develop leadership skills.

Courses will be available from April to February 2015; and each course is delivered over six day sessions.

The first course will run throughout April on the following dates – 2nd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th.  The course sessions take place on weekdays and run from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm for the first four sessions and from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm for the last two sessions.

The course will be offered again in June, August, November and February.

After all the courses have been delivered there will be an awards ceremony for participants in February 2015.

For more information visit www.pkc.gov.uk/citizenleadership, or to book a place on the course contact Enable direct on 0300 0200 101.
