Police Scotland have identified the deceased following the incident at the River Tay.

Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a 21-year-old woman recovered from the River Tay at Perth on Tuesday (March 11) has been formally identified as Hannah Ford, of Bridge of Earn, Perth.

Enquiries into the circumstances are continuing and anyone who has information should contact Police Scotland on 101.

As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
