Andy Murray’s hotel has won a top award from Scottish Hotel Awards it has emerged.
10 bedrooms and five suites, and features a tennis court, chapel and its own loch have won its top award within the Scottish Hotel Awards Associations.
The hotel which opened its doors 27 days ago was upgraded at the cost of £1.9m – Awards chairman Gary McLean-Quin said “This superbly balanced combination of solid investment, vision and hugely experienced management has made Cromlix the unanimous choice of judges this year.
“What impressed us – and specifically enabled this award – was the involvement of award-winning management and individuals in every department – people of excellence we have known for a decade.
“The result is no less than a national treasure.”
The five star establishment which is called Cromlix created around 40 jobs this year.
