Police Scotland Tayside Division remain extremely concerned for the welfare of Steven Hendry, aged 41, who has been reported as missing from his home in the Ballantuim area of Blairgowrie.

Police Scotland Tayside Division remain extremely concerned for the welfare of Steven Hendry, aged 41, who has been reported as missing from his home in the Ballantuim area of Blairgowrie.

He was last seen at about 3.50 p.m on Tuesday 23rd September 2014, in Dundee city centre.

He is described as being white, about 6ft 2in with a receding hair line, short brown hair and a light coloured beard.   He is believed to be wearing a beige zip-up jumper and blue jeans and may be driving a Blue Honda CRV 4×4 vehicle, registration number SM03ZBZ.

Superintendent Graeme Murdoch of Tayside Division said “We are very anxious to hear from Steven or anyone who may have seen or spoken to him since 3.50p.m on Tuesday 23rd September.  Our one and only concern is his welfare and we simply wish to make contact with Steven to confirm he is safe and well.  I would urge Steven or anyone else who can help with any information to contact Police Scotland on 101 or speak to any police officer.”

UPDATE: Police Scotland Tayside Division are pleased to confirm that missing person Steven Hendry has been traced safe and well.
