Perth & Kinross Learning Disability Service is moving to a new location.

The service, which is currently based at Birch Avenue in Scone, will move to Murray Royal Hospital in Perth at the end of October.

The Learning Disability Intensive Support Service (previously known as the day hospital) will be operating from the Pinel Unit, which is located alongside the main HUB building at Murray Royal Hospital.

The Learning Disability community team will be based in the HUB building. All out-patient clinics will be delivered within the consultation suite accessed via the HUB building.

Angie McManus, learning disability service manager for Perth & Kinross CHP, said, “We are relocating to Murray Royal Hospital at the end of October and will deliver our services to our clients from there.

“We would like to take the opportunity to thank the community in Scone. The Perth & Kinross Learning Disability Service has been in Scone for 21 years and we want to thank the community for being fantastic neighbours and for supporting the service over the years.”
