A police officer has been assaulted last night while on duty, 9th of March.
CS Spray was deployed to help the situation to allow officers detain a male and female and both were arrested.
A spokeswoman from Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman have been charged in connection with an assault at St Catherines Square, Perth on Monday, March 9. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and they are expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court today. “
The officer in question has been bruised following the attack.
