At around 7.40pm this evening, 3rd of June, 2015 two appliances from Scottish Fire & Rescue Service attended a call at the Mercure Hotel. Within five minutes the hotel was back to normal business.

The hotel is well known for its emergency services visits, on the 21st of April, 2015 Scottish Fire & Rescue attended twice within the same night due to condensation from a shower.

A local dog walker said: “We have just seen emergency services drive up the wrong way to get access to Mercure Hotel looks nothing serious”
