A 74-year-old woman has been charged following a Road Traffic Collision in Blair Atholl, Perthshire.

A 74-year-old woman has been charged following a Road Traffic Collision in Blair Atholl, Perthshire.

A spokeswoman from Police Scotland said: ”

Police Scotland can confirm that a 74-year-old woman has been charged following a road traffic collision involving a Peugeot car and a Mercedes Sprinter van on the A9 near Blair Atholl this morning (Wednesday, September 2).

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”

The driver of the van (single occupant) has been taken by helicopter to hospital for treatment for injuries – not life threatening.
The A9 remains closed whilst the vehicles are recovered – it is expected that the road will be re-opened soon.
