McDonald’s has unveiled a list of reopened restaurants in Scotland today, offering drive thru only with a limited menu.
Broxden and Dunkeld Road McDonalds have opened this morning, offering drive-thru only. The fast-food chain announced last week it was finally making a comeback in Scotland following its closure in March due to the pandemic. Delivery is not available via Uber Eats or Just Eat as of yet.
McDonald’s said: “This is only possible following the hard work of the teams in our 44 pilot restaurants. Over the last fortnight, our employees, franchisees and suppliers have worked tirelessly to implement new procedures to enable safe working so that we can now help all parts of the UK and Ireland to enjoy the return of the Big Mac.”
Both branches are extremely busy right now, with large queues. Broxden branch since 11am has served a few hundred customers already. Motorists are queuing at least 25 minutes before getting to order.
