Princes Street remains closed following an incident involving a police vehicle.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland said: “Around 2.35pm on Tuesday, 23 April, 2024, officers attended the junction of Princes Street and Canal Street in Perth, following a collision involving a police vehicle.
“Enquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing and police remain at the scene.”
The two officers in the vehicle were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
Police are now appealing for information and dash cam footage of a Black Volkswagen Golf that was found abandoned shortly after by police.
According to witnesses speaking to The Courier, the police vehicle was in pursuit of another vehicle before it crashed.
