Students from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland have been shortlisted to win £1000 funding to their school and tickets to a theatre in London from TodayTix.
Conall Ross from Perth and his fellow students made a last minute decision to produce a beautiful talented 60-second video to win £1000 funding and tickets to see The Grinning Man from TodayTix.
The students have successfully got to the final stage and are the only Scottish finalists to be in a chance to win 1st place and the prize. The 60 Second Student Shown competition is hosted by TodayTix who operate in the world’s most iconic theater markets.
Conall Ross said: “We’ve been shortlisted for the final 3 videos and are the only Scottish finalists. Voting closes Friday and we’re desperate to bring home a win for the RCS. It’s a 60-second short video which we composed, directed and filmed with no support, it was purely student-led.”
The crafted talented video created and directed by Royal Conservatoire of Scotland students have submitted their 60-second video to the ticket company TodayTix.
A spokesperson for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland said: “We are delighted to hear that the BA Musical Theatre students are thought to the final stages of this exciting competition. They have used their talents to create a video that is hauntingly perfect, winning the tickets will have them grinning from ear to ear.”
Sam Stevenson a class representative said: “Our class is so excited. This is a unique opportunity to see what our futures might look like, and give back to the RCS for all the support it provides young artists in Scotland. Voting for us would mean the world!”
