BT, British Telecom have announced prices and bills are set to go up by 6.5% in December.

BT, British Telecom have announced prices and bills are set to go up by 6.5% in December.

BT have announced prices are set to rise 6.49% in December 2014, while they said most customers are on inclusive packages adding that bills have decreased by 14% over the last five years.

Gillian Guy from Citizens Advice said: “With the extremely tough pressures on household budgets at present and wages that will continue to stay way below inflation, even a small increase in phone and broadband bills could have a big impact on family finances.”
