18-year old Nico Pettigrew has been found guilty after punching a horse as well by throwing stones against the horse to cause distress and pain against the horse.
It’s understood Nico and his girlfriend took a walk up in Scone, Perthshire where the incident happened. However a witness saw Nico punch the horse from her bedroom window. He was also found guilty of shoplifting and smashing a bus shelter in June 2012.
Sheriff Michael Fletcher ordered Nico Pettigrew to do 100 hours of unpaid community service.
