Perth Gazette can now confirm we are fully secure from hackers and spam attacks. With an SSL certificate issued on our domain it makes it much harder for personal details to be accessed by authorized users.

SSL-encrypted connections stands for, Secure Socked Layers. Basically this is a special IP folder which transmits through hidden folders.

HTTPS will only work on contact forums, checkout payments such as advertising and another other personal data fields. HTTPS will not be used on articles, as this is not necessary.

An example of when you see  the HTTPS not in use (which is normal when viewing an article like this) Don’t be alarmed, it’s just saying some content on this article is not secured. Mainly its images.
