Police Scotland in Tayside Division can confirm that at about 8.50am on Saturday 14 March 2015 a 27 year old female was assaulted at the rear of a property in Orchard Way, Inchture, Perthshire.
She has been conveyed to Ninewells Hospital for assessment but her injuries are not considered to be serious.
The person responsible was not known to the victim and ran off from the area after the incident.
He is described as being in his late 20’s, stocky build with dark hair and was wearing a shiny blue top and black bottoms.
A significant number of officers are in the area at this time conducting investigations into the incident, including specialist police dogs.

UPDATE: Reports are emerging that a man has been detained by Police Scotland.
