Police have launched an investigation following the unexplained death of a man at a property in Perth.

Police have launched an investigation following the unexplained death of a man at a property in Perth.

Emergency services were called to an address on Strathtay Road at approximately 3.25am on Wednesday, where a 30-year-old man was found.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:
“Around 3.25am on Wednesday, 2 July, 2025, police were called to a property on Strathtay Road, Perth. A 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”

No further details have been released at this stage.

Police have confirmed that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
