It’s reported that an argument took place inside a Turkish shop over a refund with girlfriend Erin Brown, 18 from Edinburgh. Protective boyfriend Callum stood beside Erin, within seconds later a 14-year-old boy plunged a knife into Callum Copson, who shouted “I don’t want to die”

Parents Eric and Lorraine have left their home in Leven, to join at Callum’s bedside in Turkey. Friends of Callum have said Callum is in a “stable condition”.

Eyewitness Sandra Dempsey, 54 said to the Daily Mail “There was blood everywhere. You could see his insides spewing out. It was unbelievably shocking. The poor lad just kept repeating ‘I don’t want to die’ over and over.”

Dean Hunt, friend of Callum, says “I hope you pull through. All the best man.”
